Official figures show UK insolvency at record levels

The latest figures released by the Insolvency Service show that more than 134,000 people entered into personal insolvencies in 2009. A further indication that individuals in the UK continue to struggle with their debts.

This rise in personal insolvency illustrates the true effect of the recession on peoples lives.

The figure show that the trend seems to be turning from bankruptcy to IVA which begs the question “are these people choosing the correct solution for their circumstances”?
